Fourth MBCA/Mosports statewide girls basketball poll released

There are 16 area teams ranked in this week's MBCA poll.

Class 2 continues to lead the way with seven of the 10 ranked teams coming from the area. Crane is still No. 1 in the Class while Gainesville and Skyline each bumped up one spot each to Nos. 2 and 3. Crocker rose from No. 8 to No. 4. Spokane stayed at No. 5. Fordland moved up to No. 8 while Hartville slipped from No. 2 to No. 10.

Republic stayed at No. 2, Kickapoo moved up to No. 3 and Branson slipped one spot to No. 10 in Class 5.

Carl Junction remains at No. 2 in Class 4. West Plains and Aurora sit at Nos. 8 and 9 in the class.

Strafford and Fair Grove each slipped three spots in Class 3 to Nos. 5 and 9. Hermitage is the lone area team ranked team in Class 1 up to No. 5 this week.
