Sophomore guard Shawn Roundtree told Missouri State coaches that he plans to transfer from the program, a source on the team confirmed to Ozarks Sports Zone.

Roundtree played in just three games this season because of a hamstring injury he suffered early in the season, and finished with nine total points.

As a freshman, Roundtree played in 30 games and made two starts while averaging 2.8 points per game in 17.9 minutes per game.

Roundtree's transfer leaves Missouri State with five returning guards, barring any further transfers – Dequon Miller, Austin Ruder, Chris Kendrix, Ryan Kreklow, and Jarred Dixon.
