Rook had one of the best seasons in state history, going 25-3 overall with 323 strikeouts in 176 innings pitched. The 25 wins and 323 Ks put her in the Top 10 in state history (single season) for those respective categories. On top of that, she had a 0.95 ERA. Heading into her senior season, Rook has committed to play at Southeast Missouri State.

An extra-base hitting machine, Francka can hit for power and average. She combined a .667 batting average with a 1.362 slugging percentage. She led Morrisville in doubles (20), triples (8) and home runs (4), doing all of that in 69 official at-bats. Francka will suit up for Drury University in Springfield next spring.

Mullings blossomed into one of the area’s top players during the spring, helping Strafford to a 20-0 mark through the regular season. Entering districts, Mullings batted a team-high .556 and led the Indians with 28 RBIs. She tied for the team lead in extra-base hits (12), including four triples. In the circle, Mullings was 18-0 in the regular season, tallying a 1.24 ERA and 119 strikeouts in 90 innings pitched.

The senior keyed Mt. Vernon’s run to a softball state championship this spring. She pitched 20 straight shutout innings in the state tournament, helping Mt. Vernon blank Stockton, Malden and Crest Ridge on its way to a state title. A leadoff hitter and team captain, Brown batted .396 (1.069 OPS) with 7 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, 28 RBIs and 46 runs scored while swiping 24 bags. She pitched 151 innings for Mt. Vernon, going 19-7 overall with a 1.34 ERA and 112 strikeouts. She’s signed to play JUCO softball at Crowder College in Neosho.
