Logan Bohannon, Ozark
Bohannon was the area’s top finisher at the Class 4 state meet, running a time of 16:26.74 to place 16th as Ozark’s lone representative. Leading up to state, he placed 3rd at the COC-Large meet (16:19), 8th at districts (16:31) and 6th at sectionals (16:10).
Shane Burns, Strafford
The Strafford junior posted a second-place finish in the Class 2 state meet, crossing the finish line in 16:36. Burns also finished second in his district meet (16:48). He is a three-time state qualifier and two-time all-state finisher.

The four-time state qualifier placed 26th in his final appearance at the Class 4 state meet, finishing in 16:32. Hall won three meets leading up to state: the Class 4 Sectional 3 meet at Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton (15:50.61), the Class 4 District 5 meet at Richardson Ranch in Lebanon (15:43) and the Ozark Conference meet in Springfield (15:59).

Kielhofner had the best performance of any local runner at state last fall, turning in a 16:13 performance to win the Class 2 meet and help the Irish claim the team title. He ran 16:19 to win his district meet. Kielhofner followed up his strong fall season by winning the Class 3 1600 and anchoring Catholic’s first-place 4×800 relay team at the state track and field championships in the spring.
