Allison was once again the top thrower in the area. Locally, he maintained the No. 1 marks for the shot put and discus throughout the 2016 season. At state, Allison placed third in discus (182’02”) and second in shot put (56’01”). He’ll throw collegiately at Harvard.

Davis had a huge impact on Skyline repeating as Class 2 state champions. He brought home gold in the 200 (22.41) and 400 (48.95) and was a member of Skyline’s third-place 4×400 relay team. He owned the area’s best 400 time and was 9th in the 200. He’ll play football and run track at Evangel University in Springfield. 

Daylan Quinn, MV-BT/Liberty – CLICK HERE FOR A 2014 & 2015 FEATURE ON QUINN

Quinn added three more state medals to his resume this year, winning the 800, taking second in the 1600 and 7th in the 3200 – all in the same day. Quinn owned the area’s best time for the 800 this season. For his career, Quinn finishes with five state gold medals and six more all-state performances.

The Zizzers senior repeated as Class 4 state high jump champion, clearing 6’10”. During the season, Riley entered national territory by jumping 7’ at the SBU Relays in late April. Riley’s gold medals helped the Zizzers take third at state this year and second last year.
