Kickapoo's Jared Ridder isn't letting one of the biggest decisions of his life linger very long into the summer. He announced on his twitter page that he's committing to play basketball for Xavier in 2017-18.

"Through the entire recruiting process one school has always stuck out to me," his tweet said. "After visiting this past week it is clear that there is no other place I can see myself playing in college."

Ridder had just received an offer from Iowa State earlier this week, and had offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma State, and Missouri State as well.

The rising senior is coming off a 19-point and 6-rebound per game junior season, helping the Chiefs go 23-9 and finish runners-up in Class 5. He was the Ozark Conference Player of the Year, selected to the Tournament of Champions All-Tournament team, and an all-state selection.

You can vote for Ridder in the 1 Awards here.
