Missouri State University will present ‘Bear Up with the Bears’ this Sunday (Aug. 28), beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Bearfest Village area located north of Robert W. Plaster Stadium.
‘Bear Up with the Bears’ will feature ice cream and pizza, inflatables and removable tattoos for kids, as well as appearances by the Missouri State spirit squads. Bears' head coach Dave Steckel and select MSU student-athletes will also be in attendance to pose for photos, sign autographs and hand out schedule cards and posters.
The free fan event will take place just four days before MSU’s 2016 season opener against Southwestern College (Sept. 1) at Plaster Stadium. Reservations are not required, and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend.
Fans who attend the fan celebration will have the opportunity to reserve their season or single-game tickets for the upcoming campaign. Season tickets packages for the Bears' 2016 five-game home schedule start at $50 for reserved bleachers with reserved bleacher-back seat packages for $80 and upper-level chair-back seats for $100. Discounted season packages are available for Missouri State faculty and staff, and families, beginning at just $25.
