Aurora scored the non-conference game's first four runs but let the Marshfield Lady Jay's rattle off 13 straight after that to take the win, 13-5, Monday afternoon in Aurora.
Lady Houn's pitcher and freshman Alyson Marcum cranked a 2-run homer in the bottom of the first to get Aurora going with the Lady Houn's taking a 3-0 lead after one inning.
"Our pitchers were not hitting their spots early," said Marshfield head coach Jessica Gorham. "If we don't hit spots, we can get in trouble."

Aurora added another run in the bottom of the second to lead 4-0
But the fourth inning was a dagger for Aurora, as the Lady Jays managed seven runs on four base hits, all singles, three walks and three errors. Bri Randolph, Blayke Taylor and Courtney Duncan all recorded RBI singles. The other four runs were unearned.
"It's frustrating," said Aurora head coach James Hoffman after the loss. "We we rolling and then one error in the fourth started the domino effect on us."
The domino included three more runs in the fifth inning for the Lady Jays.
Marshfield added three in the top of the seventh and Aurora could only push one run across in the bottom of the seventh.
"We have been working on trying to get on track early and put some runs up," said Gorhan, "but I'm proud of our girls for fighting back. We really want to jump on teams early."
Taylor got the win on the mound for Marshfield, allowing five runs on six base hits. Marcum got the loss for the Lady Houn's.
Izzy Harrison had three hits for the Lady Jays, including a double and three RBIs.
Marshfield improved to 7-8 on the year with the win.
