Southwest Baptist University junior running back Bubba Jenkins has been named the GLVC Offensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office.
In SBU's 41-37 victory over defending GLVC champion Indianapolis, Jenkins rushed for 158 yards (5.1 yards/carry) with 3 touchdowns including a game-winning 41 yard touchdown run with 10:23 remaining in the game. Jenkins currently leads the GLVC in rushing (148.7 yards/game) and ranks 5th in the NCAA Division II.
