No. 1 Lamar 49, Mount Vernon 14 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR GAME RECAP/PHOTOS/VIDEO
Mount Vernon led in this one, 7-0 and 14-7, but Lamar did what Lamar does, scoring 42 unanswered points to move to 7-0. The Tigers have scored between 49 and 56 points in every game this season.
No. 2 MV-BT/Liberty 42, Salem 7 – FINAL
Salem limited Josh Pruett and Liberty’s aerial attack on Friday, something that turned into a smaller-than-expected, 12-7, halftime lead for Liberty. The Eagles would pull away in the second half, pulling away from the Tigers using an effective ground attack. Liberty’s defense held Salem without a first down for much of the second half.

No. 3 Glendale 58, Waynesville 7 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
Glendale scored less than two minutes into the first quarter against winless Waynesville and led at the half, 45-0, cruising through the second half to stay perfect.
No. 4 Carl Junction 53, Pittsburg (Kan.) 21 – FINAL
Pittsburg stuck with CJ for a while in this one. The game was tied, 14-14, at the half. Carl Junction went up 21-14 in the third quarter on Rayquion Weston’s third touchdown, but the Dragons would draw even, 21-21, with 7:18 to play in the third. CJ’s Michael Elbert took the following kick back 97 yards for a 28-21 lead. Elbert finished with 157 total yards and added a 74-yard interception return. CJ would end up scoring 32 unanswered points over the final 19 minutes. Weston finished with 28 carries for 221 yards and three touchdowns.

No. 4 Monett 35, Seneca 14 – FINAL
Monett scored 28 unanswered points after trailing Seneca, 14-7, with 11:41 to play in the third quarter. A seven-yard touchdown run by Ian Meyer put Monett up for good, 21-14, with 7:25 to play in the fourth quarter. (That lead was Monett’s first of the game).
No. 4 Lincoln 56, African Centered Prep 8 – FINAL
Lincoln now has 430 points in eight games. They got there tonight after scoring 32 second-quarter points to set up a big, 48-8, halftime lead.

No. 5 Mountain Grove 49, Houston 0 – FINAL
Mountain Grove led Houston, 15-0, after the first quarter and eased its way to a second consecutive shutout. The Panthers (7-1) have outscored opponents 104-0 in two games since their, 33-20, loss to Liberty.
No. 7 Greenfield 60, Colony-Crest (Kan.) 6 – FINAL
This game was called at the half due to the so-called Kansas mercy rules. Greenfield led by 32 after the first quarter, 38-6. They now sit at 8-0 with one week to go in the regular season.

No. 7 Fair Grove 29, Ash Grove 0 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR GAME RECAP/PHOTOS/VIDEO
Fair Grove clinched the Mid Lakes with an efficient shutout of Ash Grove. The Eagles led 12-0 in the first quarter and 19-0 at the half, moving to 8-0 on the season with the win. Fair Grove will host Class 1 Adrian (5-3) next week with a perfect regular season on the line.
No. 8 Kickapoo 41, Lebanon 8 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR GAME RECAP/PHOTOS/VIDEO
If anyone felt Kickapoo needed to make a statement before the end of the season, this should be it. The Chiefs stomped Lebanon, outgaining the Yellowjackets, 405-149, in the game. (Kickapoo held Lebanon to 65 second-half yards). Kickapoo led, 24-0, at the half and 31-0 in the third quarter before Lebanon finally got on the board.
No. 8 Carthage 34, Republic 14 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
Carthage led, 20-7, in the second quarter and used a 80-yard pick-six to set itself up with a, 27-7, halftime lead. That lead was extended in the third quarter to 34-7 on a 20-yard Clay Newman touchdown run. Carthage has won seven straight since its opening loss.
No. 8 Webb City 33, Neosho 28 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
Good one here between Webb and Neosho. Webb City scored twice in 3.5 minutes midway through the fourth quarter to turn a, 21-20, deficit into a, 33-21, lead. Webb led, 14-0, in the second quarter before a Coleman Scott touchdown pass to Bryce Murphy sparked a 14-0 run to tie things, 14-14, at the half. Fumbling was an issue for Webb City in the first half, losing three. Hunter Vanlue scored from two yards out to put Webb up, 20-14, with 6:01 left in the third quarter. Webb City lost two more fumbles in the third quarter and eventually Neosho took advantage. Scott would connect with Murphy for a third time to put the Wildcats up, 21-20, with 9:37 to play. Scott through a fourth touchdown with 2:51 to play to bring Neosho within five, 33-28. Webb City finished with 379 yards total offense (225 rushing). They were led by Durand Henderson’s 99 yards and Hunter Vanlue’s 84 yards.
No. 10 Reeds Spring 55, Buffalo 21 – FINAL
The Wolves circled the wagons for 41 first-half points and a 34-point halftime lead Friday, cruising through the second half to move to 7-1 ahead of next week’s big COC-Small matchup with Springfield Catholic (5-3).

Shawn Bryan put up a SEASON’S WORTH of touchdowns Friday, crossing the goalline eight times (EIGHT TIMES) as Skyline did whatever it pleased on the ground against Marionville. Bryan finished with 338 yards on 26 carries. Skyline led, 33-13, at the half.

Ozark 28, Nixa 27 – FINAL – 2OT – CLICK HERE FOR GAME RECAP/PHOTOS/VIDEO
The Backyard Brawl lived up to every last expectation Friday, with Ozark winning this year’s edition in double overtime after stopping Nixa’s two-point conversion attempt. Ozark tied Nixa, 14-14, with 3:16 to play in the third quarter on a 33-yard Nathaniel Burlage touchdown run. The Tigers would have a chance to win on a 27-yard field goal with time expiring, but the kick sailed wide. Andrew Rivera scored for Nixa to open overtime. Jack Hulse would respond with a 22-yard pass to Cameron Robertson. Ozark’s offense would do its job again in the second OT, with Hulse powering in from one-yard out. Rivera hit Aiden Farthing to bring Nixa within one, 28-27. The Eagles decided to go for two, did not get it, and the Tigers hoisted the trophy.
Willard 28, Branson 0 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR GAME RECAP/PHOTOS/VIDEO
Willard led Branson, 8-0, at the half and used three second-half touchdowns to secure its second win of the season. The Tigers have lost four games this year by six points or less, so this one had to feel good.

West Plains 57, Parkview 32 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR GAME RECAP/PHOTOS/VIDEO
Keegan Hoopes starred in this one, rushing for 351 yards and seven touchdowns. Parkview stuck around with West Plains for much of the first half, trailing 28-20 late in the second quarter, but the Zizzers responded with 22 unanswered points to go up 50-20 late in the third quarter. With tonight’s numbers, Hoopes is up to 1,768 yards and 32 touchdowns on the ground this season.
Camdenton 34, Joplin 19 – FINAL
Camdenton led Joplin 27-7 through three quarters before Joplin woke up and made this one a game. The Eagles used a pair of fourth-quarter Jokiem Crawford touchdown passes to pull within 27-19 with over three minutes to play. Joplin would stop Camdenton and get one last shot but used a late turnover and late score to put this out of reach. The win was the fourth straight for Camdenton. Joplin outgained the Lakers, 297-295. Both teams ran 60 plays in an incredibly evenly matched game. Camdenton went up 13-0 on a 90-yard touchdown pass from Dyllan Decker to Jake Hill.

Cassville 45, Aurora 7 – FINAL
Another big win for Cassville as the Wildcats win their sixth game of the season ahead of a big one next week against Mt. Vernon (5-3). Cassville led 31-7 at the half.
East Newton 56, McDonald County 34 – FINAL
East Newton put this one away early, leading, 42-14, at the half. The Patriots scored more points in this game than they did all of last season (33) as the continue a sort of program revival, winning their third game of the season after winning three TOTAL games from 2010-2015.
Bolivar 48, Marshfield 0 – FINAL
Lane Loomer rushed for 256 and three scores in two quarters to help his Liberators to a 35-0 halftime lead. Loomer would sit for the second half and Bolivar cruised to its fifth win of the season. Loomer has three 200-yard rushing games this season and seven games over 100 yards. Connor Sechler and Brandon Emmert tied a pair of Bolivar records in the win. Marshfield was held to 130 yards of total offense.

Springfield Catholic 38, Rogersville 6 – FINAL
The Irish rushing attack was unleashed on Rogersville this week. Catholic finished with 477 total yards on the ground off of 46 carries, wearing down the Wildcats early and often and leading, 21-0, at the half.

Stockton 74, Pleasant Hope 6 – FINAL
Stockton scored 55 first-half points and wrecked its way to a 68-point win over winless Pleasant Hope. The Pirates’ touchdown was their first since Week 4 against Skyline.

Hillcrest 48, Rolla 34 – FINAL
Hillcrest got to .500 (4-4) Friday with yet another good offensive performance. The Hornets led Rolla, 34-21, at the half and extended that lead to 48-21 with 6:53 to play in the third quarter. Interesting final game of the regular season for Hillcrest as they host Joplin (4-4) next Friday.
Ava 35, Cabool 7 – FINAL
Four straight wins for Ava as the Bears keep Cabool winless. Ava led, 21-7, at the half and scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Willow Springs 19, Thayer 0 – FINAL
Willow Springs PROVING US ALL WRONG with a truly excellent defensive effort against Thayer. This game was tied, 0-0, at the half. This was Willow’s second shutout of the season. This was the third time this season that Thayer has been shutout. The win was Willow’s fifth, making this their first five-win season since 2013.
Diamond 52, Liberal 8 – FINAL
Carter Prewitt tossed four touchdowns and Diamond pulled away from Liberal in two quarters, leading 39-0 at the half to help them move to 6-2 this season. Triston Shepherd scored five times three different ways for Diamond.

Shepherd: 97 rush yards, 3 TD; 4 rec., 54 yards, TD; 45-yard passing TD
Lockwood 35, Miller 0 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
A 50-yard Jobe Edwards touchdown run opened scoring for Lockwood. They led Miller 27-0 at the half and cruised to a shutout. Edwards finished with 193 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.
Hollister 25, Strafford 21 – FINAL
Hollister joined Willow Springs in PROVING US ALL WRONG in what Tyrone the Tiger called the “UPSET OF THE NIGHT.” Strafford led 14-7 with 6:53 to play before the half, but Hollister scored a pair of touchdowns in those final 6+ minutes for a, 19-14, halftime lead. Hollister extended that lead to 25-14 with 9:49 to play. Strafford pulled within four with 6:00 remaining, but the Tigers held off the comeback attempt.

Derek Morris: 5 catches, 100 yards, 2 TDs.
Clinton 49, Springfield Central 8 – FINAL
Clinton won its sixth game of the season and Central remained winless with this final. Central trailed, 42-0, at the half.
El Dorado Springs 44, Pierce City 26 – FINAL
Pierce City led, 14-8, with five minutes left in the first half, but ElDo scored a late touchdown to go up 16-14, a lead they’d never give up. The Bulldogs led 30-14 and 38-20 in the second half, using the ground game to wear down Pierce City and win their third game of the season. Pierce City dropped to 3-3 with the loss.
Appleton City 41, Jasper 35 – FINAL
Another good win for Appleton City (6-2). The Bulldogs led, 34-19, at the half over Jasper and 41-27 through three quarters. Jasper would pull within six, 41-35, with 5:19 to play, but wouldn’t find the endzone again.
Cole Camp 43, Osceola 12 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
The Bluebirds shut down Osceola over the first 24 minutes, leading 29-0 at the half and cruising through the second half to improve to 7-1 on the season. Cole Camp closes out the regular season by hosting undefeated Lincoln in what will be Lincoln’s toughest test all year.
Southern Boone County 49, Warsaw 21 – FINAL
Warsaw trailed, 35-7, at the half. Despite two second-half touchdowns, they never got closer than 42-21 over the final 24 minutes.
Warrensburg 22, Nevada 0 – FINAL
Nevada was shutout for the second game in a row and fourth time this season, dropping its record to 2-6. Warrensburg led, 14-0, at halftime.
Lighthouse Christian 37, Tipton 12 – FINAL
Bryant Taylor threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns on 20-31 passing as Lighthouse Christian spoiled yet another homecoming. Taylor finished with five total touchdowns as Lighthouse moved to 6-2 on the season.
