Daniel Brinck, a very fast Nixa swimmer and lover of the undisputed best fat-free gummy-based candy available for purchase, had himself a very good weekend at the MSHSAA boys swim championships in St. Peters.
Brinck was the only area swimmer to swim his way into TWO state finals events, finishing seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.99) and eighth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.31). To add to the all-state medals, Brinck’s 200-yard freestyle time was a new Nixa school record in the event. (A record previsouly held by his older brother, Niklas Brinck).
Just a junior, there’s no reason to think that Brinck won’t be back and even better next year, downing Swedish fish on the podium like the boss he is.
