Dec. 7 Statewide girls basketball rankings

The area has 15 ranked teams across five classes in this week’s statewide girls basketball coaches poll.

Walnut Grove (Class 1), Skyline (Class 2) and Strafford (Class 3) stayed at No. 1 in their classes. Kickapoo tumbled from No. 1 in Class 5 to No. 8 after suffering two losses.

Thayer, Gainesville and Spokane all joined the Class 3 rankings while Wheatland entered the Class 1 rankings.
