The area has 16 ranked teams across five classes in this week’s statewide girls basketball coaches poll.
Walnut Grove (Class 1), Skyline (Class 2) and Strafford (Class 3) stayed at No. 1 in their classes while Carl Junction (Class 4) rose to No. 1 for the first time this season.
Rogersville (Class 4) and Republic (Class 5) joined the rankings for the first time this year.
