Jeff Weseloh (SBU Sports Information) BOLIVAR, Mo. — The Southwest Baptist University football team has announced their 10-game schedule for the 2017 season. The 2017 schedule features 8 GLVC games as the Bearcats look to defend their GLVC Championship.
The Bearcats will kick off their season on Thursday, August 31 when travel to Eastern New Mexico in Portales, New Mexico in a 7pm (MST) evening game. SBU then returns home on Saturday, September 9 to host Mississippi College in the SBU home opener, followed by their GLVC opener at Indianapolis on Saturday, September 16. Homecoming is set for Saturday, September 23 against Quincy, while senior day will take place on Saturday, November 11 against Lincoln University.
