ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Five Drury players scored in double-figures as the Lady Panthers picked up a 75-50 win over Maryville on Thursday in St. Louis.
Drury improved to 23-3 and 15-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Maryville dropped to 11-12 and 7-9 in the league.
The Lady Panthers forced 28 turnovers against the Saints while producing a balanced offensive attack at the other end of the court. Hailey Diestelkamp led Drury with 14 points while Daejah Bernard and Paige Wilson added 12 points each. Briana Jones scored 11 points and Heather Harman had 10.
Mary Barton had 14 points to lead Maryville.
Drury built a 19-10 lead after the first quarter and led 39-22 at the half. The Lady Panthers led by as much as 30 in the fourth quarter before winning by 25.
Drury continues their St. Louis road trip on Saturday when they take on USML for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
