SPRINGFIELD – The Drury Panthers have clinched home-court advantage in the opening round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament and will host Rockhurst on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the O’Reilly Family Event Center.
Tickets to Sunday’s game will go on sale Thursday morning and the O’Reilly Family Event Center box office will be open for extended hours on Thursday and Friday operating from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tickets are $10, children ages 12 and under are free as well as Drury students, faculty and staff that present their campus ID.
Season ticket holders to both the men’s and women’s programs will have the opportunity to secure their seats for Sunday’s game before they go on sale to the general public on Sunday. Season tickets holders can purchase their tickets on-line starting Thursday morning (a link will be provided by email and on this website when active), or by stopping by the O’Reilly Family Event Center box office between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday or Friday, or by calling 417-873-6389.
The Panthers are 17-8, 10-7 in the GLVC and are locked into eighth place in the overall league standings with one game still remaining in the regular season. Rockhurst is locked into ninth place in the standings. The Hawks are 14-11 and 8-9 in the league.
Sunday’s winner will advance to the conference quarterfinals on Thursday, March 2 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
Drury ends their regular season on Thursday in Rolla against Missouri S&T. The women’s team plays at 5:30 p.m. and the men’s game follows at 7:30 p.m.
