(1) Liberty Football vs. (16) Reeds Spring Boys Basketball
The brick red, the navy blue, the silver chrome eagle feathers on the helmet. All reasons for Liberty getting a top seed. This is a rich uniform that always stands out under Friday night’s lights. Reeds Spring using grey is what got them here. An underutilized color that looks very good as a primary when you have the option to use that bright red as a secondary.
(8) Macks Creek Baseball vs. (9) West Plains Softball
Grey on grey, blue pinstripes from collar to knees, multi-colored hat with a white front, blue sleeves and high socks, yellow “P” for Pirates on the hat and uniform. These Macks Creek baseball unis are good enough for a minor league team and probably deserve a higher seed. West Plains softball did a great job in choosing these. The dark red pants looks great against the black uni and helps bring out the Zizzers “Z” on the sleeve.
(5) Neosho Wrestling vs. (12) Rogersville Baseball
The gold Neosho wrestling unis with those black pinstripes are synonymous with success at the local AND state levels. Classic and recognizable whether or not you live in the Ozarks. These Rogersville baseball uniforms are one-of-a-kind. Start with the oversized olde-time “R” in the middle of the chest, then look at the the thick maroon stripe bookended by a pair of grey horizontal stripes (also on the sleeves).

(4) Walnut Grove Basketball vs. (13) Aurora Softball
“THE GROVE” lettering on the shorts gets Walnut Grove (boys and girls) a high seed. A very cool feature that looks great on both the road whites and home blacks for The Grove. It’s hard to do all-red uniforms well, but Aurora softball manages to pull it off, earning a 13-seed for that purpose.
(4) Walnut Grove Basketball vs. (13) Aurora Softball
(6) New Covenant Academy Girls Soccer vs. (11) Ozark Boys Basketball
These New Covenant Academy unis scream SOCCER. Great European design with red used as the primary and a pretty-decent-sized white stripe separating the red from the black shoulders. The Ozark “Bulls” jerseys are in for that exact purpose. Whether or not on purpose (probably on purpose?), this is a great reproduction of a classic NBA uniform.
(6) New Covenant Girls Soccer vs. (11) Ozark Boys Basketball
(3) Glendale Football vs. (14) Joplin Football
Powder blue tops and bottoms and the white helmet with the red chrome Falcons feathers makes Glendale a top threat in this bracket. Joplin does a nice job making the Eagles logo its own with the tri-coloring for a classic yet modern feel.
(3) Glendale Football vs. (14) Joplin Football
(7) Springfield Catholic Boys Soccer vs. (10) Waynesville Softball
Catholic soccer does soccer right with the full-navy blue uniforms. They just seem to flow and have the exact right amount of gold touches on the numbers and interlocking “SC” at the left shoulder. Waynesville softball gets a pair of images because they made this list thanks to the backs of these uniforms/helmets. The Tigers logo looks great at the top center and the grey modern-camo helmets are a very cool touch.
(7) Catholic Boys Soccer vs. (10) Waynesville Softball
(2) Strafford Football vs. (15) Willow Springs Boys Basketball
What we’re seeing here is Strafford taking the Florida State helmet and making it BETTER. The garnet spearheads on the white helmet are things of beauty. The black tops and black bottoms are becoming more common, but are still incredibly sharp. What gets things done here outside the helmet is the lined black/white gradient inside the numbers. Great work. Willow Springs is here because of those candy-cane-esque white, maroon and silver stripes along the sides of the torso and shorts. A great way to make an otherwise generic uniform unique.
