Junior Dylan Bekemeier earned a runner-up finish Tuesday as the Evangel men’s golf team competed at the Central Baptist College Invite at The Country Club of Arkansas.
Bekemeier moved up the leaderboard in day two after a first round 73 he fired a 71 to finish even par for the tournament. The Republic, Mo., native finished just three strokes behind Austin Harmon of CBC who finished -3 to win the invitational.
As a team Evangel finished fourth after shooting a team score of 312 day one and day two to finish at 624. Missouri Valley took home the team title with a 591 while host Central Baptist finished second at 595.
