Springfield Cardinals postpone Saturday game against Arkansas

Andrew Buchbinder (Springfield Cardinals Media Relations) Springfield, MO – Saturday’s game between the Springfield Cardinals and the Arkansas Travelers at Hammons Field has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions.

Saturday’s game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 14 with the first of consecutive seven-inning games beginning at 5:10pm. One ticket is good for both games of the June 14 doubleheader with gates opening at 4:30pm that day.

Saturday’s scheduled Expedia Umbrella Giveaway (2,000) has been moved to the Thursday, May 18 game. First Pitch on Thursday, May 18 is 7:10pm, with gates opening at 6:10pm.

The MSU Bears Night Pregame Program scheduled for Saturday will be rescheduled and announced at a later date. Fans with an MSU Bears Night Theme Ticket may exchange that ticket for any remaining Regular Season game during the 2017 season and may pick up their co-branded Cardinals and Bears Cap when they exchange their ticket.

Tickets from the Saturday, April 29 rained out game against the Arkansas Travelers may be exchanged for any remaining Regular Season game during the 2017 season, subject to availability. Tickets must be mailed or presented in person to the Springfield Cardinals Ticket Office, located at Gate 1 at Hammons Field, anytime during the remainder of the 2017 season. The Ticket Office at Hammons Field will be open starting at 10am on Sunday, April 30 to begin accommodating ticket exchanges. Complimentary tickets are not exchangeable.
