Davis was part of a potent 1-2 punch for a Kickapoo team that came up just short of playing in a Class 5 state championship game. The Navy signee averaged 20 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 2016-17. He also shot 51.1 percent from 3-point and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line. Davis finished his career with 1,227 points, seventh-most in Kickapoo history.
Brandon Emmert, Bolivar

Emmert was a bruising presence down low for the Liberators for four seasons. The Central Missouri signee, along with Conley Garrison, led the Liberators back to a Class 4 Final Four where they finished runner-up. He averaged 20.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals and blocks per game to go with a 63-percent shooting percentage from the field. He finished his career with 2,045 total points.
Monty Johal, Glendale

Johal is one of the best pure scorers in Southwest Missouri as evidenced by his 27.6 points per game against a tough schedule. He is rewriting the Glendale record books as he already holds the all-time marks for single game and career scoring. He eclipsed both marks with a 51-point game against West Plains. He also led Glendale in rebounding at 5.8 per game to go with 2.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.
Jared Ridder, Kickapoo

Ridder won virtually every Player of the Year honor he could for his stellar senior season. He was the first Southwest Missouri player to win Mr. Show-Me Basketball since Rogersville’s Drew Richards in 2004. The future Xavier Musketeer leaves as Kickapoo’s all-time leading scorer after putting up 24 points per game, along with 6.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals, this season. He finished his high-school career with 1,628 points.
