Boone Kroenke, Lincoln
Kroenke earned his third-straight all-state honor after placing 10th in this year’s Class 1 state tournament. The senior helped guide Lincoln to a third-place finish at state after shooting a two-day total of 162. Kroenke shot a 79 during the first round and an 83 in the final round. Lincoln finished with a team total of 683 strokes, six behind first-place Gallatin.
Taylor Haltom, Ava
Haltom collected his fourth-consecutive all-state honor after placing 11th in this year’s Class 2 state tournament. The Missouri Southern signee had a two-day total 155 after shooting a 75 on the first day and an 80 on Day 2. Earlier this season, Haltom shot a 2-over, 74 to win the Class 2 District 4 championship.
Dylan Garner, Cassville
Garner made a name for himself at this year’s Class 3 state tournament. After finishing 70th at the event as a sophomore, Garner jumped all the way to the top to win the individual title with a two-day total of 146. Garner remained consistent, shooting a 72 on Day 1 and a 74 on Day 2. The junior was in third place entering the final round.
Alex Locke, Glendale
Locke finished his high-school career strong after earning a second-place finish at the Class 4 state tournament. The senior shot an opening-round 72 and capped off the final round with a 76 to tie for second at the par-72 course in Joplin. Locke, a three-sport athlete (football, soccer and golf) and Maryville signee, also won a sectional title after posting a 2-under, 70.
