Krystal Caylor, Kickapoo

Caylor won the 200-yard individual medley at state in a time of 2:03.48, becoming the first female swimmer from Kickapoo to bring gold home since 1985. She backed that finish up with a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard Backstroke and an eighth-place finish as part of Kickapoo’s 200-yard Medley Relay. She leaves Kickapoo for the University of Indianapolis holding or being a part of seven of 11 swim records.
Kayla Herron, Kickapoo

Herron qualified for state in two individual events and two relays as a junior. Her best individual finish was ninth place in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 24.42. She was 11th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.42. She garnered all-state honors with an eighth-place on the 200-yard medley relay team and was on Kickapoo’s 10th-place 400-yard freestyle relay.
Molly Moore, Summit Prep

Moore brought home four all-state finishes, led by runner-up swims in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races. She momentarily set the state record for the 50-yard freestyle in the prelims at 23.22 and broke that record the next day at 23.07 but was runner-up. Moore also helped Summit Prep finish seventh and eighth in the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays, respectively.
Olivia Stoneman, Nixa

Stoneman’s sophomore season saw her become Nixa’s lone representative at the state swim meet by qualifying for the consolation finals in two events. Her top finish was a 10th-place showing in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 58.60. She showed her versatility by finishing 12th in the 100-yard backstroke (58.71).
