USA Today has released is annual list of NCAA Athletic Department finances for public institutions based off of the 2015-16 athletic year.
Missouri State ranks 116th out of 230 schools on the list in total revenue with $26,208,346 in profits. Expenses had the Bears athletic program breaking even with total expenses at $26,208,346.
The Missouri State Athletic Department relied on $16,758,813 in allocations which, according to USA Today are the sum of student fees, direct and indirect institutional support and state money. This means that 63.94% of Missouri State’s athletic department revenue comes from allocations.
Arkansas ranked 14th on the list with a revenue of $124,981,042 to go with expenses of $105,633,576. The Razorback Athletic Department does not rely on any allocations in its budget making a profit of $19,347,466.
Mizzou was 30th on the list with a total revenue of $97,275,839. Expenses for the school were $94,323,693 with $1,015,000 in allocations.
