COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Football fell to 1-2 on the season after losing its Week Three matchup to Purdue, 35-3, Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. Mizzou was held to just 203 total yards of offense with its only points coming following a late second-quarter interception by Thomas Wilson (Suwannee, Ga.) that turned into a 29-yard Tucker McCann (O’Fallon, Ill.) field goal as time expired in the half.
-Senior S Thomas Wilson hauled in his first career interception.
-Sophomore LB Cale Garrett tallied his first career sack.
-Junior P Corey Fatony finished with with four punts of 50+ yards Saturday and now has 45 such kicks in his career.
-Senior DE Marcell Frazier tallied his first full sack of the season.
-Junior DT Terry Beckner, Jr., tallied his first full sack of the season.
-Senior S Anthony Sherrils matched a career-high with eight tackles.
-Fatony’s four punts of 50+ in a game matched his career high total for 50+ yard punts in a game.
-Garrett set his career high in tackles, recording 12 on the day, the most tackles of any Mizzou defender this season.
-Sophomore WR Dimetrios Mason recorded a new season high in receptions, with six.

Mizzou will host Auburn next Saturday at either 6 or 6:30 p.m. on a network to be determined (the announcement is expected late Saturday following the completion of Week Three games).
