MONETT, Mo. — The Monett softball team conquered Sullivan in a 5-2 comeback win on Saturday to advance to the Class 3 Final Four for just the second time in program history.
The Lady Cubs were held scoreless through the first four innings until Kelli McCallister drove in a pair of runs to tie it 2-2.
Her sister, Kassie, then put Monett on top with an RBI single. Katie and Ashley Kurima drove in the final two runs.
Monett will face Smithville at 11 a.m. on Friday at Killian Softball Complex in Springfield.
