VIDEO: C of O women stay perfect with 112-70 win over Evangel

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. – The Evangel women’s basketball fell 112-70, Tuesday night at College of the Ozarks in non-conference action.

The Crusaders hung with the Bobcats early before CofO pulled away in the second quarter to lead 50-38 at halftime. College of the Ozarks continued to pull away in the second half outscoring Evangel 30-13 in the third quarter.

Evangel shot 42 percent from the field, but the home team College of the Ozarks was lights out shooting 53 percent. The Bobcats also placed six players in double figures.

Casey Askins led Evangel with 18 points as Sydnee Garrett added 17 points in the loss. Paige Patterson also finished with double figures tallying 16 points and leading the Crusaders with six rebounds.
