Norwood, which will be a little undersized, will be looking to create offense with defense this year.
“We should be a little quicker which help out defense , which will help create some offense,” head coach Shane Chadwell said. “Size will be a factor, we do have some bigs that will get the opportunity to see if they are ready for the varsity level.”
Seniors Riley Vaughan and Tim Thornton along with junior Seth Bradshaw will be new faces on varsity.
Chadwell will be looking for his team to put together complete games this season.
“We have play four quarters,” Chadwell said. “Last year we could play three good quarters but often failed to play a complete game which led to many of our losses to 10 points or fewer. And shot selection and turnovers , we have to make better decisions, and hopefully we will as upper classmen.”
Norwood opens the season on Nov. 21 at Plato.
