Drury University senior guard Alice Heinzler has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

· Broke school record for points (41) in a game and three pointers made (nine) against Jewell, shooting 76.4% (13-for-17) from the field, 69.2% (9-for-13) from three, and 100% from the foul line (6-for-6), while helping earn head coach Molly Miller’s 100th career victory
· Recorded GLVC season-high point total, matching the sixth-best scoring output according to available league records
· Was also the most points scored by a team this season against a fellow D-II foe and league opponent
· Averaged 24.50 points, 4.0 steals, 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists in two league wins, shooting 64% (16-for-25) from the floor and 64.7% (11-for-17) from long range
· Earns first career Player of the Week award
