Branson’s Helena Haberer started dancing before she was two years old.
“I feel like when I’m dancing I’m on top of the world, and nothing’s going to stop me,” said Haberer, “I wouldn’t say it defines me, but it’s a big part of my foundation.”
Heleena grew up in a family of professional dancers. Her mom Peggy Lee Brennan-Haberer [known professionally as Peggy Lee Brennan] performed on Broadway, and danced with Patrick Swayze.
“I’m an actress, singer, dancer and I’ve danced on Broadway, but Heleena has skills that I never did is what Heleena started doing,” said Brennan-Haberer.
Next year, Heleena will attend the University of Alabama on a full-ride scholarship.
