Want to become a high school football official? Here’s how

The Southwest Missouri Football Officials’ Association and the Joplin Football Officials Association are announcing an opportunity for those who wish to become High School Football Officials.   The associations represent Football Officials throughout Southwest Missouri and will be providing free introductory Training beginning In the Springfield Area on May 20, 2:00 P.M., Catholic High School, Springfield, MO. Joplin Area Dates and Location will be Announced Shortly. A Training session will be offered in West Plains Area

The training will continue through August and those who complete the course and successfully pass the required examination will be eligible for certification as a Missouri State High School Athletic Association (MSHSAA) Football Official.

These new officials can expect to be assigned several Junior High, Freshman and Junior Varsity Games in the 2018 football season.
