Republic had a historic season in 2017 and Brown was the biggest reason why. The Rockhurst signee scored 56 goals on the season, as the Tigers advanced to the final four for the first time in program history and finished third overall. His 56 goals and nine assists meant that Brown had a hand in 65 of Republic’s 86 goals in 2017. Brown scored or assisted on 12 of Republic’s 13 goals in the Tigers’ six-game run through districts and the playoffs.
