Brinck comes from a long line of swimmers and he made them proud in his senior season with third-place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (46.88) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.88) at the inaugural Class 2 state swim meet. He also won the SWMO Swim & Dive Championship in both events while swimming legs on Nixa’s runner-up 200-yard freestyle relay and third-place finishing 400-yard freestyle relay.
