Wilson bounced back from a 74 on the first day of the Class 2 state golf tournament with a 69 on the second day to finish second overall. That second-day score was the only sub-70 score carded for a single round by any of the 96 golfers at the Class 2 state tournament. She was dominant in her run up to state as she won the Class 2 District 5 tournament by 15 strokes and won the sectional tournament by eight strokes.
