Meier staked her claim as the area’s top hurdler this season with a sweep of the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles at the Class 4 state track meet. Her time of 43.15 to win the Class 4 state championship in the 300-meter hurdles was also the area’s No. 1 time. She finished with the No. 2, 100-meter hurdle time of 14.66. Meier also ran anchor leg on Camdenton’s state runner-up 800-meter and 1600-meter relays.
