The past two years have been tumultuous for the area when it comes to conference realignment. Two conferences (the Spring River Valley and Central Ozark Conference – Small Divison) have ceased to exist. Only the South Central Association, Summit Conference, Mark Twain Conference and Frisco League will have the exact same membership this coming school year as they did last year.
The area will have 31 total schools playing in new conferences this coming school year. See the full alignments below with a school’s previous affiliation in parenthesis after its name.
Even this list will change in two years with the Ozark Mountain Conference and Mid-Lakes Conference merge in 2020. That conference will then have a north division consisting of Butler, El Dorado Springs, Sherwood, Skyline, Stockton and Warsaw and a South Division that features Buffalo, Clever, Fair Grove, Forsyth and Strafford.
