Megan Callis takes over the Waynesville volleyball program coming off a three-win season a year ago. The Lady Tigers had a 20-win season as recently as 2015 and will look to build back to that level under Callis.
Callis will have a strong group of hitters to work with including seniors Victoria Perry (outside), Shelby Wardin (outside), Gracie Hutchinson (middle/blocker) and Lucinda Myers (right side) along with sophomore Jordan Harpel (middle).

Sophomores Aldon Pilz and Sydney Kunneman along with senior Abbey Foster will be the key setters this season while junior Hannah Headrick slides into the libero role. Foster is a transfer from Warsaw. Mary Henry could see time defensively as a freshman.
Callis will look for her team to come together through the season and build for a strong run at the end of the season.
“My expectation within conference is that we come out each game and compete and continue to improve, so that we are playing our best mid-October,” Callis said.
Waynesville opens the season on Aug. 24 at Glendale.
