Four senior starters return for a Stoutland team that finished 16-8 last season.
That starts with Bree Sein who was all-conference and all-district last year. Melanie Hubbs and Skylar Shepherd also earned all-conference honors. Sarah Prebble rounds out the group of four returning starters.
Chesnie Holden and Kailyn Stradt also return after coming off the bench last season.
Becca Looney was the one starter lost to graduation, but she was a strong player who earned all-conference and all-district honors. Yasmine Mundy also graduated.

Unsurprisingly, leadership will be one of the biggest strengths for Stoutland.
“Experience and leadership will be strong attributes,” head coach Keith Glenn said. “Ball handling and depth will be a concern.”
Many of these players also helped Stoutland’s softball team reach the final four this year. Expect that big game experience to help on the basketball court.
“This is a group that had success as softball players as well as track and field athletes,” Glenn said. “If they can overcome the team concerns they could have a successful year in conference and district play.”
Stoutland opens the season on Nov. 25 at home against Macks Creek.
