SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State men’s basketball head coach Dana Ford announced Friday (Dec. 20) that sophomore Jared Ridder (Springfield, Mo.) has undergone season-ending surgery earlier in the day.
Ridder’s procedure to repair a labrum tear in his left shoulder will sideline him for the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign.
With a variety of injuries and setbacks, Ridder had played in just one game this season, a six-minute stint in the season opener against Little Rock on Nov. 5.
The Bears conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oral Roberts before starting Missouri Valley Conference play on Dec. 31 against Evansville at JQH Arena.
