Missouri State President Clif Smart continues to update the current state of the university in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.  At the campus level, there’s a hiring freeze, full-time employees cut to 2/3 pay, and 133 campus projects stopped.

The post-COVID-19 outbreak also impacts more than $600,000 in reduced payouts from the cancellations of both the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Tournaments.

President Smart has the Athletics Department, and Athletic Director Kyle Moats, in charge of tackling their own budget.
