Former Nixa Football Head Coach Rich Rehagen will take the same position at Springfield Catholic.
Rehagen retired from his coaching position at Nixa in Decemeber.
He spent 25 years with the Nixa program including 11 years in charge.
Rehagen led the Eagles to the state championship game in 2014
The school confirmed the news to KY3 Sports and Ozarks Sports Zone Wednesday night.
The position came open after the 2019 season when former Catholic Head Coach Steve Hancock left to take an assistant position at Branson. Hancock had previously coached the Pirates for 28 years.
