Miller posts dominant 38-point win to claim Class 3 District 12 title

The Miller girls started fast on the way to an 81-43 win over Sarcoxie in the Class 3 District 12 title game. It is the third consecutive district title for the Lady Cardinals.
Miller led 23-12 after one quarter and 52-20 at the half. The Lady Cardinals found success from deep with 10 3-point makes in the game.
Kaylee Helton (23) led Miller with 25 points.
Payten Richardson (34) was just behind her with 20 points.
Lili Merrick (21) gave Miller a third player in double figures with 10 points.
Sarcoxie’s Annette Ramirez (11) led all scorers with 27 points.
Miller advances to the Class 3 State Tournament and will face Ash Grove on Wednesday, Mar. 3.
