No. 3 seed Lebanon upset No. 2 seed Parkview 55-46 in the Class 6 District 10 semifinals on Monday to advance to Thursday’s district title game. The win avenged a Feb. 23 loss to the Lady Vikings.
The two teams were square at 11-11 through one quarter before Lebanon put some distance with a 12-7 advantage in the quarter for a 23-18 lead at the half.
Lebanon would keep the host Lady Vikings at arm’s length in the next two quarters on the way to the 55-46 win.
Sophomore Raegan McCowan had a career game with 25 points and a school record 23 rebounds for Lebanon in the win.
Five other players scored for Lebanon including: Chloe Shivers (8 points), Makayah Alexander (7), Destiny Zimdars (7), Kara Campbell (6) and Jocee Pettyjohn (2).
Tara Masten led Parkview with 12 points. Seniors Kamari Ouck and Mikaela Whalen closed out their Parkview careers with 11 points each.
Lebanon will face Central for the Class 6 District 10 title at 6 pm on Thursday back at Parkview.
