The No. 20 ranked Missouri State Lady Bears are a 5-seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament. It ties for the highest seed in program history.
The bracket was revealed Monday night, showing Missouri State will play 12-seed UC Davis in the first round of the Alamo Region.
Stanford is the 1-seed in the Alamo Region, while Arkansas is the 4-seed. Missouri State would play Arkansas in the second round if both teams win their first round games.
Missouri State enters the tournament with an overall record of 21-2.
The Lady Bears reached the Sweet 16 in 2019 as an 11-seed with upset wins over 6th-seeded DePaul and 3rd-seeded Iowa State.
All games in this year’s NCAA Tournament will be played in the San Antonio area.
