Bobby Petrino and his staff didn’t waste much time in their pursuit of the area’s best players.
Nixa star wide receiver, Kael Combs, announced via his Twitter account Wednesday night that he’s received an offer from Petrino and the Bears football team.

The announcement comes just hours after the Bears signed West Plains running back Connor Lair and Springfield Catholic wide receiver Liam O’Reilly during the early signing period.
Combs caught 44 passes for 842 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first year playing football after a four-year hiatus from the sport. He averaged 19.1 yards per reception.
Combs also holds an offer from Dana Ford and the Missouri State basketball program.
