“Our kids did a great job on a quick turn-around and bouncing back,” said Drury head coach Amy Eagan. “I told the team before the game that sometimes as a player, you have a bad game, and sometimes as a team, you can have a bad game, but that doesn’t define you. We had to adjust to some things early with their backdoor cuts, but I thought after that, we played really good defense and did a good job of keeping it out of their post players’ hands.”
In addition to Findley’s 30 points, Kaylee DaMitz added 13 points and four steals.
Julia Ruzevich, the scoring and rebounding leader in the GLVC, had 23 points and six rebounds for Lindenwood.
Drury returns home for a Thursday game against Southern Indiana at 5:45 pm in the O’Reilly Family Event Center.
