SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury’s Paige Robinson and Alana Findley were named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Midwest Region team in a vote of sports information directors.
Robinson was named a First Team all-region selection. The senior from Bethany, Illinois, earned all-region honors for the third time in her career as she averaged 21 points, 3.2 assists, and 2 steals per game. Despite missing two months of the regular season, Robinson still scored 503 points marking the 12th time in program history a Lady Panther has topped 500 points in a single season.
Earlier this year, Robinson was named a First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection and was named MVP of the GLVC Tournament. Robinson’s First Team All-Midwest Region selection makes her eligible for All-American consideration.
Alana Findley earned the first All-Region honor of her career. The junior from Fair Grove, Missouri, averaged 14.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals. Findley shot .533 from the field and .718 from the free-throw line. Her 531 points were the sixth-most scored by a Drury player in a single season, and her 286 rebounds rank third in a single season in program history.
Findley was named a First Team All-GLVC performer earlier this season and was named to the GLVC All-Tournament team in the postseason.
The Lady Panthers went 32-5, advanced to the NCAA-II Tournament for the 19th time in their 22 year program history, and won the GLVC championship for the sixth consecutive time in 2021-22.
