Aurora girls soccer has a new head coach in Shawn Pennell this season. He takes over a program coming off its best season since 2015.
Things are off to a good start for the new coach.
“As a first-year coach I could not be happier with the team I have,” Pennell said. “They respond well when I have something that needs to be done it is an amazing experience.”
He has a quartet of seniors in Kaitlin Fischer (defense/midfield), Isabella Maggio (midfield/striker), Angelina Alcoba (midfield) and Abigail Snodgrass (defense) to lead the team.
