Greenwood girls soccer, just three seasons removed from an 0-10 record, beat Mid-Buchanan 2-1 in overtime to finish third place in Class 1.
The first half was a scoreless affair. At the 57:11 mark, Rilyn Anderson broke through for a goal off an assist from Chloe Deepe to take a 1-0 lead.

Mid-Buchanan had the answer a little over five minutes later with a goal from Alivia Moekli on a free kick to tie the game up at 1-1.

The game went to overtime where Greenwood’s Annabelle Sonnemaker ended the game off a shot that found the back of the net off a deflection.

Greenwood finishes the season with a record of 16-4.
