The Golden City girls held off Crocker’s second-half comeback to win the Doug Loehr Holiday Classic in Weaubleau.
Golden City, the No. 3 seed, trailed 10-7 after one quarter before exploding for 19 points in the second quarter to take a 26-14 lead in the break.

The fourth quarter was a low-scoring frame with just two field goals and seven total points being scored. Kyndall Scott scored two points for the Lady Eagles which would be just enough to hold on for a two-point win over the top seed.
