INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The second-ranked Drury Lady Panthers set a couple of milestones with their 86-79 win over Indianapolis on Thursday at Nicoson Hall in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Drury won their 20th straight game and earned the program’s 600th win in team history, raising their all-time record to 600-117. With three regular-season games and the postseason tournaments still remaining, the Lady Panthers are averaging 26 wins per year in their 23-year team history.

In terms of 2022-23, Drury went to 24-1 and 17-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while the Greyhounds dropped to 14-11 and 10-7 in the GLVC.

It appeared Drury was going to cruise to the win, as they led 45-23 at halftime and were up by 23 with 7:37 left. But Indianapolis scored 32 points in the fourth quarter and pulled as close as five in the closing moments.

“We might have subbed a little too early against a team like this, and Alana (Findley) fouling out early in the fourth quarter hurt us because she does so much for us,” said Drury head coach Amy Eagan. “I thought Indy did a great job of playing hard in the third and fourth quarter and getting to the rim.”

The Panthers lost Findley to fouls with 8:12 remaining as the senior exited with eight points in 14 minutes of playing time.

Drury still got a balanced scoring attack as Terrion Moore had 16 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Kaylee DaMitz-Holt added 14 points, Mia Henderson had 15, Allie Clevenger 12, and Bella Sparaco chipped in 11.

The Lady Panthers out-rebounded the Greyhounds 37-25 and owned a 17-3 advantage on the offensive glass.

Sadie Hill led Indianapolis with 16 points.

Drury plays their final road game of the regular season on Saturday when they travel to McKendree for a 1 pm game in Lebanon, Illinois.
